Brief Description: Have you wondered what makes a quality improvement project “good”? How do you know if quality improvement principles were understood and applied? In this workshop we’ll provide a framework for assessing the quality of QI projects. Through interactive discussion and breakout sessions, the participants will use a novel QI Project Scoring Rubric to assess the quality of a mock QI project presentation and the learner’s understanding of QI principles. In small group settings, the participants will practice using the tool to assess example A3 project summaries. The workshop will conclude with an interactive discussion on assessment of learning in the QI domain.
